Can I give my child some cough syrup to relieve attacks?
The son is over 3 years old is taking the antibiotic amoxicillin prescribed by the doctor because his cough is getting worse. At night he suffocates terribly or can I give him some syrup to soften the attacks?

If you have noticed that the cough in a child is getting worse, this should prompt you to consult a pediatrician. You can give your child syrup until the visit, but in order for me to recommend something, I need more information about the cough.
