Can I stop taking Ovulan after 11 days and will it cause bleeding within a few days after discontinuation?

I have been taking Ovulan for 11 days. This is my first packaging. Spotting appeared. Can I stop taking the medicine now and will it cause bleeding within a few days after discontinuation?

Yes, you can stop taking Ovulan after 11 days. This may or may not cause bleeding to occur. It can occur up to 45 days after stopping the use of the drug. Spotting is an inherent element and a normal phenomenon when using single-component contraceptive pills, e.g. Ovulan. I wrote about it here on the example of another drug with the same active substance: https://www.gdziepolek.pl/opinie-i-pytania/71402/limetic-czy-plamienie-podczas-przyjmowania-leku-limetic-moze-byc-ciaza
