What should I do if my hair falls out after Prolia?

On the last day of January this year, I got another injection of Prola. I go out of my hair by the handfuls. What am I supposed to do? I'm devastated. Blood tests and TSH in the norm.

It may be worth checking sex hormones - hair loss may also be associated with menopause or perform other tests as recommended by a dermatologist. Excluding other causes and if you are not taking other medicines, it is possible that you are experiencing side effects of Prolia. Hair loss (alopecia) may affect up to 1 in 10 people taking this medicine (but more than 1 in 100). Hair loss is thought to directly correspond to the mechanism by which denosumab (the active ingredient in Prolia) acts on cells and receptors.
