Can I give a child of 11 years of age Glimbax for gargling?

Good morning, can I give a child of 11 years old glimbax for gargling ? He can already gargle. So when it comes to swallowing, I think there is no risk.

According to Glimbax, it should not be used in children under 14 years of age. It is not about the risk of ingestion, but about the active substance. Unless such a procedure was recommended by the doctor, I suggest choosing another, appropriate to the age of the child disinfectant, analgesic or anti-inflammatory for the throat. I do not know the situation of the child, after a short interview, the pharmacy staff can help in choosing the right product. For my part, I can signal that the appropriate age limit has drugs such as, for example: https://www.gdziepolek.pl/produkty/75018/strepsils-junior-pastylki-lamelki-zelki/apteki https://www.gdziepolek.pl/produkty/39355/junior-cholinex-o-smaku-malinowym-pastylki-lamelki-zelki/apteki https://www.gdziepolek.pl/produkty/77403/tantum-verde-aerozol/apteki The same active ingredient as Tantum Verde spray (benzidamine) also has Hascosept in the form of mouth and throat rinsing ( if you care about such a form), it is suitable over 6 years of age. Benzidamine has an anti-inflammatory and analgesic effect. Applied topically anesthetizes and sanitizes: https://www.gdziepolek.pl/produkty/77403/tantum-verde-aerozol/apteki
