Can I take emanera (esomeprazolum) and famogast when taking escipram? I have chronic inflammation of the stomach and the doctor prescribed me the above-mentioned drugs. I take escipram and wonder if I can take these medications.

Esomeprazole (Emanera) and famotidine (Famogast) may increase plasma concentrations of escitalopram (Escipram) and increase the likelihood of side effects associated with the use of this medicine (e.g. dizziness, muscle tremors, headache, excessive sweating, diarrhoea, joint and muscle pain and tiredness). It is worth consulting a doctor and considering reducing the dose of escitalopram.
