Does coronavirus infection weaken the effect of the antibiotic? Is it possible to take an antibiotic with Covid-19?

Good morning, I have strep throat, I'm taking an antibiotic, but I did a coronavirus test and it also came out positive. Does the coronavirus lower the effect of the antibiotic? Can I take an antibiotic with covid?

Coronavirus infection is not a contraindication to the use of an antibiotic or weakens its effect. Although antibiotics are unlikely to be used in the case of a viral infection (antibiotics are effective against bacteria, not viruses), an antibiotic may be needed, e.g. if the patient has the characteristics of a bacterial superinfection.
