How to change the contraceptive drug from Mywa to Mercilon?
For a year I took MyWy tablets. However, I have very heavy bleeding with them. Now the doctor proposes mercilon. Is there a chance that the problem will disappear and can I safely end you and immediately start mercilon . Do I not have to use additional security?

The active substances contained in both preparations are different. If you do not get satisfactory results from using Mercilon, I encourage you to consult your doctor again.

You can change the preparation in the manner described in the Mercilon leaflet. In order to maintain full contraceptive protection, it is recommended to use the 1st active tablet of Mercilon immediately after the end of the use of active (pink) tablets of Mywy. It is also possible to use Mercilon after stopping the placebo tablets of Mywy.
