Good morning. Since September 2021, I have been taking OC-35 birth control pills, finally after so many months the gynecologist prescribed me Microgynon 21. Since the beginning of February I am still on OC, but after the period according to the day I can already take new pills?

According to the package leaflet of Microgynon 21, the first tablet of the new contraceptive should be taken after the last tablet of the previous contraceptive (Oc-35). It is also possible to take the first tablet of Microgynon-21 after the end of the standard break when using Oc-35: https://www.gdziepolek.pl/produkty/48863/microgynon-21-tabletki-powlekane/ulotka/31262 Both procedures are correct and ensure the continuity of contraceptive protection. About how to use contraception correctly, we wrote in the article: https://www.gdziepolek.pl/artykuly/jak-prawidlowo-stosowac-antykoncepcje
