Can I apply Karnosil hydro-gel to a postoperative wound?

From what I was able to find is Karnosil gel is registered as a cosmetic. It has a caring, protective and supporting effect on maintaining irritated skin in good condition. Therefore, it does not have a healing or accelerating healing effect. I also did not find information whether it can be used directly on open wounds. It is difficult to assess the legitimacy of using this preparation without knowing your medical records. If it is an open wound and you want to use this preparation, I suggest smearing around the wound, and not applying directly to it.
