Listerine Total Care fluid works topically - after rinsing the mouth, it should be spit out, so it does not penetrate the digestive tract, e.g. liver, to be able to affect hormonal contraception or other medications in any way.

I did not find a product called "eucalyptiol".

Does eucalyptiol also affect the effectiveness of contraceptive pills?

There is a likelihood of the influence of oils, e.g. eucalyptus oil, on the effectiveness of hormonal contraception of two components, among others, vaginal discs. Preparations with eucalyptus oil, e.g. Respero Myrtol, are metabolized by the liver. Therefore, they can stimulate certain enzymes needed to metabolize the hormones contained in contraceptives, and therefore there may be a decrease in the concentration of contraceptive drugs in the blood, and thus - a decrease in their effectiveness. Due to the fact that there may be a probability of reducing the effectiveness of the disc, it is advisable to use a condom for the duration of supplementation.
