Good morning. I wanted to ask if when taking pink pills, a slight spotting is a bad sign.? I admit that so far spotting has occurred when taking placebo pills but for some time I notice that it also occurs after. Not much but something appears.. The question is whether I have to change the tablets to others, or wait until the next placebo tablets and see how it will work.??

The answer to this question is given in the following thread: https://www.gdziepolek.pl/opinie-i-pytania/65181/vines-czy-olejek-cbd-wplywa-na-skutecznosc-antykoncepcji
Thank you for your answers, they will certainly be helpful.. I have one more question, does cbd oil have an effect on tablets?? In several articles I found that to a small extent it can reduce the effectiveness of tablets but to the end it is not studied.. I wanted to start using them for insomnia, but I do not know if I can with tablets ...

For @Sylwia: the attached tablets have the same composition as Vibin Mini, but differ in the scheme of taking the drug (24+4 instead of 21+7). However, I believe that the information I have provided is adequate. If anything bothers you, or spotting is irregular, then of course a visit to the doctor is a good solution.

Unfortunately, I am not aware of the 21+4 preparation available in the Netherlands, which is a product similar to Vibin Mini. So I cannot go to the documentation of such a drug and answer you about it. As I have already written about Vibin Mini pills, and what should also apply to other two-component contraceptive products, spotting should occur when taking placebo pills and may also persist at the beginning of the next blister. During the first few months of taking hormonal contraception, you may have unexpected bleeding (bleeding outside the period of using placebo tablets), i.e. inside the pack. However, if such unplanned bleeding or spotting begins after a few months, the doctor should investigate the cause. I understand that tablets in the Netherlands are prescribed by a family doctor, but if you are concerned, you can certainly provide additional information and / or refer you to a gynecologist, because probably there are also doctors of this specialty in this country.
At the beginning I had Vibin mini tablets, but I live in the Netherlands and the doctor prescribed me other similar tablets. There are 21 pink and 4 white. And I've been taking them for over a year, so that's why I ask if spotting can be unyaccoonable when taking pink pills. Previously, I did not notice that spotting occurred every now and then. I can not go to the gynecologist, because in the Netherlands all tablets are prescribed by a family doctor..

You did not write what pills you are talking about. If you mean the drug Vibin tagged next to the question, please read on. Otherwise, please provide the correct name of your medicine, as the bleeding profile may depend on the specific product and its composition. Vibin tablets contain yellow and white tablets, and you mention "pink" tablets. Perhaps it is about Vibin mini? However, I am afraid that you mean a different product than the one I describe below. As I have already mentioned - in this case, the answer may not be correct, and the question needs to be supplemented on your part. As for Vibin, during the 7 days when white placebo tablets (placebo days) are used, withdrawal bleeding should occur). This bleeding usually starts on the 2nd or 3rd day after taking the last yellow vibin tablet containing the active substances. After taking the last white tablet, you should start another blister regardless of whether the bleeding is still ongoing. The above provision means that bleeding or spotting can occur ("drag") also at the beginning of a new blister and it does not have to be a cause for concern. If this is your first or one of the first packages of contraception, then bleeding in general may be irregular - so-called "mid-cycle spotting" may appear. They are normal with the first - more or less - three packages, but at a later time they should no longer occur. If you have any doubts about bleeding in your individual case or the need to change tablets, it is best to talk about it with the gynecologist who prescribes your medicine
