Does Hydroxyzine have a similar effect to Relanium?
Does hydroxyzine have a similar effect to relanium? I know that it is much safer, it is not so addictive. Can it be taken temporarily in the event of anxiety and will it help after a dozen or so minutes after taking a single dose like relanium?

Although both drugs can be used to treat anxiety disorders, their mechanisms of action differ from each other. Hydroxyzine is an antihistamine, it has m.in sedative, hypnotic, antipruritic. Not addictive. Relanium is a drug from the group of benzodiazepines. It has m.in anxiolytic effect. It can be used in short-term therapy of insomnia. Its use can lead to physical and mental dependence.
