When to start taking Yaz tablets?

When to start taking Yaz tablets? I was assigned Yaz tablets. The gynecologist told you to start taking them with the first day of bleeding. The package contains 24 light pink tablets and 4 white. Blister begins with light pink tablets. Should I start treatment with a light pink tablet on the first day of bleeding?

The blister of Yaz should be started with an active tablet, light pink in color. Each blister of Yaz contains 24 light pink hormone-coated tablets (in the 1st, 2nd, 3rd and 4th rows) and 4 white coated placebo tablets in the 4th row. The placebo tablets are empty and do not contain any active ingredients. Do not confuse the tablets: light pink tablets are taken for the first 24 days, then white tablets for the last 4 days. A new blister should be started immediately (24 light pink and then 4 white tablets) without using a break between the two blisters. According to the leaflet: "Due to the differences in the composition of the tablets, it is necessary to start using the first tablet on the top left and then take the tablets each day in the direction of the arrows on the blister." If you start taking Yaz on the first day of your period, it immediately prevents pregnancy. You can also start taking the drug on days 2-5 of the menstrual cycle, but then you need to use additional contraceptive methods (for example, condoms) for the first 7 days.
