In addition, I take Bisocard 1xdz.,Losartan 50 mg 1xdz. and antiemetic drugs,no Metoclopramide), Controloc,No- Spa. Today I received a prescription for Cital 20 mg 1 tabl.rano and Trittico CR 75 mg 1 tabl.evening. Do the prescribed drugs p/ depressive do not interfere in any way with the drugs that he takes chronically, or can he safely use them. Best regards

There are certain interactions between the medicinal products mentioned in the question. Due to their nature and severity, however, in general, these interactions are not a contraindication to the simultaneous use of these drugs. Caution should be exercised when using preparations that show similar side effects, in this case Metoclopramide and Cital. Both of these drugs can cause extrapyramidal symptoms, which include: muscle stiffness, bradykinesia, tremor, gait disorders. In rare cases, a serious complication may occur - neuroleptic malignant syndrome, which is a life-threatening condition and requires immediate intensive treatment. It is worth being aware of the effects of simultaneous use of these drugs, so that if they are observed, the patient can associate the symptoms with the fact of combining specific substances and go to the doctor. I assume that you have informed the psychiatrist about all the drugs and dietary supplements used and the concomitant diseases. Therefore, you can safely use the above drugs according to the recommended dosage regimen. Please note that this is only an increased probability of a given side effect, but it does not allow you to determine whether a person will have a specific effect.
