Should I take an extra contraceptive pill?

Good morning, today 3.5 hours after taking the contraceptive pill twisted me in the intestines as for diarrhea but I did not get it. Should I take an extra pill?

The tablet, when swallowed, dissolves in the body, in the digestive system and then enters the bloodstream. It is not that every stomach pain, problems with defecation or the feeling of overflowing in the intestines affect the absorption of drugs and foods - yes, digestive disorders can happen, but they can not affect the absorption of the drug, because it, as I said - dissolves and its active ingredients go into the blood. Until the tablet leaves the body too early (as a result of vomiting or diarrhea) - there is no reason to worry. These two situations pose a threat, because then the drug physically does not have the possibility of dissolving and absorption, and thus contraception may be disturbed. Therefore, please do not stress about ailments in the form of a feeling of heaviness, overflowing in the stomach or stomach pain - they do not affect the process of supplying hormones to the body. If you use contraception every day, at a similar time and do not miss any dose - there is no reason to worry, protection against pregnancy is provided.

I would like to ask if I have such a stomach pain or intestinal torsion, I conclude that digestion has been disturbed and whether then the absorption of the tablet is also not disturbed? Does the tablet digest or absorb? Could you explain this process to me, because I don't want to panic every stomach ache 😞

Yes, the protection has been preserved. Yes, please take a normal 7-day break, according to your schedule.

I understand, so the protection has been preserved? This is the 15th tablet. Should I take a break normally?

He did not disturb. In such a situation - please do not take another dose.

It's already been 7 hours and I don't have diarrhea. However, hasn't this abdominal pain disturbed the absorption of the tablet?

If there is no vomiting or diarrhea - there is no need to take another tablet. However, if up to 4 hours after taking the drug there is diarrhea or vomiting - please take an additional tablet as soon as possible. The twisting in the intestines or the feeling of overflowing does not affect the effectiveness of treatment, there is no reason to worry.
