In the case of many diabetes medicines and the drug Aciprex, in my opinion it is not possible to say unequivocally that the sugar is lower in a given situation only because of the drug Aciprex. Please also note that your diabetes medications do not work right away, they do not lower sugar levels in an instant, overnight. Therefore, the effect that you observe may also be the effect of drugs for diabetes. The information from the manufacturer of Aciprex reads: "In patients with diabetes, treatment with SSRIs may impair blood glucose control (hypoglycaemia or hyperglycaemia). It may be necessary to change the dosage of insulin and/or oral hypoglycaemic agents." However, as you can see - it is possible that sugars will be higher or lower. In addition, I do not know how much sugar began to decrease. Does this range of 100-95 mean that the value has changed from 100 to 95 mg/dl? If so, then it does not matter significantly, since such changes in glycemia (and even greater) occur physiologically in every person. The sugar level is not a constant value. Such results also do not indicate too low values (too low sugar level is below 70 mg / dl), nor too high. Please remember that the result itself does not allow to draw unambiguous conclusions, it is necessary to know the trend - how this sugar changes during the day. When measurements are taken - on an empty stomach, 30 min, 1h after eating, and maybe 3h after eating. What kind of food it was. Was there physical activity? It all matters. To sum up - in my opinion it is impossible to answer your question unequivocally without additional information, except that blood glucose results at the level of 95 mg / dl or 100 mg / dl are the correct, safe level for a patient with type 2 diabetes.
