Wasn't Duphaston supposed to do the opposite?
Good morning .February 2 I'm going to surgery . The doctor told me to take duphaston twice two tablets to postpone the period until February 4. I take from today January 24 to February 4 .assured me that as long as I take I will not get the period .today the first day I take and plan if it was not supposed to work the other way around?

Spotting is not a period - menstruation occurs only after discontinuation of Duphaston. Spotting is an adverse reaction to Duphaston that occurs in many patients and that you should report to your doctor: https://www.gdziepolek.pl/app/artykuly/jak-i-dlaczego-zglaszac-dzialania-niepozadane
