As I understand it, you mean the Implanon NXT implant. If so, please read on. Implanon NXT prevents pregnancy for a period of three years, although if you are overweight, your doctor may recommend that you replace your subcutaneous implant earlier. After the implantation procedure, you should receive a Patient Alert Card with an attached sticker and information about the date by which you should apply at the latest to replace the implant. The drug documentation does not mention the need for additional protection in the last month of using the implant. I enclose additional information: https://www.gdziepolek.pl/produkty/37472/implanon-nxt-implant/ulotka

To @Agata: Side effects are an individual matter - one person may experience hair loss, and the other person may experience other or no undesirable symptoms. They usually disappear with the time of use of the drug. Our article can be helpful: https://www.gdziepolek.pl/artykuly/czy-bac-sie-dzialan-niepozadanych-lekow It is also important that if you experience side effects of the drug, report it to your doctor. Reporting side effects allows you to gather more information about the safety of medicines and update data about them, which can help other patients in the future. We wrote about how to report them here: https://www.gdziepolek.pl/artykuly/jak-i-dlaczego-zglaszac-dzialania-niepozadane Side effects of drugs can also be reported individually: https://www.urpl.gov.pl/pl/produkty-lecznicze/monitorowanie-bezpieczeństwa-leków/zg loost-side-effect-0
good morning, do the same side effects, e.g. hair loss, be repeated every time the contraceptive implant is used?
