Beto ZK should not be used during breastfeeding unless absolutely necessary. The drug in this form (prolonged-release tablets) is released continuously for 20 hours, so it does not matter that you take the tablet in the morning and would like to feed in the evening. The concentration of the drug is still the same. Although the risk of side effects in a breastfed infant is low after administration of the drug in therapeutic doses (except for people with a slow metabolism), a breastfed infant should be carefully monitored for signs of blockage of beta-adrenergic receptors (m.in slow heart rhythm, circulatory failure, cold hands and feet).
