Concomitant use of Ventolin and hydroxyzine increases the risk of arrhythmias, more specifically QT prolongation and torsade de pointes (TdP), potentially life-threatening. The possibility of a similar interaction was also found with the concomitant use of Ventolin and Clatra. Combining the above-mentioned drugs should be discussed in this case with the attending physician. If Ventolin is used on an emergency basis, your doctor believes that the benefits of these medicines may outweigh the risks. However, you should make sure that your doctor is aware of all the medicines you are using.
