Do Evra patches have any negative effect on the baby besides the fact that lactation can disappear?

Hi I stick contraceptive patches from 4 msc. today I learned that during breastfeeding I should not (the gynecologist forgot to tell me about it) does it have any negative impact on the baby except that lactation may disappear?

For @mama111: The use of Evra patches is not recommended for pregnant women. Nevertheless, the ingredients contained in the patch are considered "moderately safe" when used in nursing women. The use of patches for a period of 2 weeks does not pose a serious threat to the health or life of the fed baby. There is no need to worry. If the drug has caused a problem with milk production - it may be worth using over-the-counter preparations supporting lactation, e.g. https://www.gdziepolek.pl/produkty/105993/femaltiker-plus-smak-karmelowy-proszek-do-wytworzenia-plynu/apteki The situation should stabilize after a few days after discontinuation of the patches. After visiting the gynecologist, the daughter got the patches despite the doctor's information that she was breastfeeding. Unaware of this, she began to use 2 weeks and began to lose food . My 1 question whether it will not hurt the baby because she was feeding and the baby for 3 days is very unconnoyed I'm afraid that sue will reflect it on the health of the baby 2 question Is she able to do something else about it so as not to lose food has already put away the patches?

To @OkAl: I would recommend that you consult your doctor again and indicate that you are still breastfeeding, as it is not recommended to use Evra patches until the woman has completely finished feeding. Perhaps the doctor did not know that you were breastfeeding or there was a mistake.

The summary of product characteristics of Evra does not contain information that the patches have a negative effect on the child.

Thank you for your answer about lactation I know. The question was about the negative impact on the child on his development

Combined hormonal contraceptives, such as patches, can affect lactation because they can reduce the amount and composition of breast milk. It is not recommended to use Evra until the woman has completely finished breastfeeding. For nursing women, one-component tablets are recommended: https://www.gdziepolek.pl/kategorie/tabletki-antykoncepcyjne-jednoskladnikowe
