Can I take Climeston or Duo-Fem if I have contraindications to taking hormones?

I am 50 years old and bothersome symptoms of menopause. Due to thrombosis and pulmonary embolism, I have been taking xarelto 20mg for several years. I can not take hormones to relieve the symptoms of menopause . I am currently taking vit. D3 2000j and magnesium b6. Can I take Climeston or Duo-Fem, for example? Is it safe in my case, or can it help?

If you have contraindications to taking hormone replacement therapy, you should discuss taking supplements to alleviate the symptoms of menopause with your doctor. Although these are over-the-counter preparations, usually foodstuffs or dietary supplements, their action is based mainly on plant raw materials containing isoflavones, also called phytoestrogens, due to the potential to affect estrogen receptors. If the doctor decides that such an alternative is safe for you, you should choose products without vitamin D and magnesium, since you already take them in the form of separate preparations. For example, climeston mentioned by Mrs. already contains vitamin D, and Duo-Fem contains both vitamin D and magnesium.
