Should I change the drug for hypertension if after the current one I feel unwell, I have dizziness and a lack of strength in general?

For a month I have been taking every prestarium initio 3.5 mg + 2, 5 mg for a week I have a pressure of about 110/70 or lower and always a heart rate of 60 - 66 max. I feel bad, I feel dizzy, in general lack of strength. Should I change my medication? Are these symptoms at the beginning of treatment? I am 50 years old.

Malaise, lack of strength and dizziness are most likely due to a decrease in blood pressure. Due to the fact that these symptoms make your life difficult, you should consult your doctor. I do not know whether it will be necessary to change the drug - such decisions can be made by a doctor familiar with your state of health, not an outsider only on the basis of the information contained in the entry. Perhaps the doctor will propose a similar combination of substances, but in a smaller dose or include a one-component preparation. Usually, the situation normalizes after the first 2 weeks of using the drug for hypertension, although some patients require more time.

User questions and answers that provide feedback about products are not verified for the purchase or use of the product. Companies often order anonymous comments to form positive opinions about their products, or negative ones about competitors. Therefore, be guided by the information in the pharmacists' responses in the first place.
