Can I use Flavamed instead of Pectodrill?

I give a 3 year old child syrup for wet cough pecto drill which today I accidentally broke, I have no way to get a prescription for a new bottle at the weekend, can I give another expectorant syrup that I have at home eg Flavamed and on Monday return to pecto drill? Can you swap in this way?

These preparations differ from each other in active substances. They are not their counterparts and should not be used interchangeably. As a last resort, it is better that the available expectorant preparation is administered than none. You can read more about the treatment of wet cough in the article: https://www.gdziepolek.pl/artykuly/kaszel-suchy-i-mokry-jak-go-leczyc When you need an e-prescription on your days off, you can use night and holiday medical help. You should make an appointment for teleadvice and ask for a prescription describing what happened. The Teleplatform of First Contact was also launched for patients insured in the country.
