According to the Summary of Product Characteristics of Cirrus - the product should not be used during pregnancy. The use of pseudoephedrine in the first trimester of pregnancy is associated with an increase in the frequency of congenital evisceration (malformation of the abdominal integument with displacement of the intestines outside the abdominal cavity) and arthrosis of the small intestine (congenital obstruction of the small intestine). Due to the vasoconstrictive effect of pseudoephedrine, it should not be used in the third trimester of pregnancy, as this may provoke a decrease in flow in the uterine-bearing circulation. Data from a limited number of uses of cetirizine during pregnancy do not indicate adverse effects of cetirizine on pregnancy or the health status of the foetus and newborn.
