Witam.Male years 42 The doctor prescribed me Solderol 30.000 U.m. coated tablets dose once a week and added Calperos 1000 once a day. Can I take it? I will only add that I have a confirmed Sarcoidosis.

In people with sarcoidosis, Solderol and Calperos should be given with caution because of the risk of increased metabolism of vitamin D to its active form and hypercalcaemia (too high levels of calcium in the body). In this case, the concentration of calcium in the blood and urine should be regularly monitored. If your doctor has been informed about your medical conditions, you should follow the recommendations and use the medication as prescribed, performing regular check-ups. If the doctor has not seen about sarcoidosis, you should go for another consultation - you may need to do additional tests and modify the treatment.
