Is Zafrilla a contraceptive and will it stop menstruation?
Good morning. I have a question about the drug Zafrilla. Is this medicine a hormonal contraceptive? Does this drug stop menstruation?

The available data show that most patients have inhibited ovulation during treatment with Zafrilla, but menstruation may occur. However, it can be irregular and more abundant or scanty than usual. Zafrilla is not a contraceptive. During its use, mechanical contraception (condoms) is recommended.
