Does malabsorption syndrome affect the effectiveness of birth control pills?

I was diagnosed with malabsorption syndrome or does it affect the effectiveness of contraception?

Have you determined which nutrients your malabsorption syndrome applies to? Do you have frequent diarrhoea? In the case of malabsorption syndrome, it is important to determine what this syndrome concerns. Some contraceptive pills contain, for example, lactose and their use is contraindicated in patients with glucose-galactose malabsorption syndrome. It is difficult to determine whether your syndrome will affect the effectiveness of the proposed contraceptive pills. The effectiveness of tablets can also be influenced, for example, by the occurrence of diarrhea, often associated with malabsorption syndrome. Other forms of hormonal contraception, such as patches, discs, implants, will probably be safer to use. In order to choose the right hormonal contraception, I encourage you to consult a gynecologist. I also encourage you to familiarize yourself with additional materials that may be useful: https://www.gdziepolek.pl/artykuly/antykoncepcja-hormonalna https://www.gdziepolek.pl/kategorie/plastry-antykoncepcyjne https://www.gdziepolek.pl/kategorie/krazki-dopochwowe https://www.gdziepolek.pl/kategorie/implanty-antykoncepcyjne https://www.gdziepolek.pl/kategorie/wkladki-domaciczne

Good morning, what did this syndrome manifest itself in you?

User questions and answers that provide feedback about products are not verified for the purchase or use of the product. Companies often order anonymous comments to form positive opinions about their products, or negative ones about competitors. Therefore, be guided by the information in the pharmacists' responses in the first place.
