Good morning. For several years I have been taking contraceptive pills called Milvane. My body tolerated them very well. The drug has been withdrawn. What hormonal tablets, 3phasic,will have a similar composition to Milvane? Regards, Anna.

By @Nel 78: Unfortunately, it seems that all three-phase contraceptive pills have been withdrawn from the Polish market. Qlaira five-phase tablets remain on sale: https://www.gdziepolek.pl/produkty/65571/qlaira-tabletki-powlekane/apteki Over time, multiphase preparations have not been significantly better tolerated than single-phase ones, and their proper use is more complicated for patients, which is associated with errors leading to reduced effectiveness. For this reason, mainly single-phase preparations are currently available.
Thank you for answering the problem is that this preparation is not on the market. Is there anything else that can replace these pills?

Among the ternary contraceptive pills currently available in Poland, Triquilar is mentioned. This preparation differs in the gestagen component (levonorgestrel instead of gestodene), but like Milvane, its composition has been selected to best reflect the natural hormonal changes occurring during the menstrual cycle.
