Is it possible that the pill is stuck in my throat?

Good morning, today I took a contraceptive pill and after about 20 minutes I felt as if something was scratching my throat and it was in it. Like powder. I swallowed the pill whole and washed it down with a whole glass of water and I didn't feel it stuck in my throat. When I felt scratching in my throat, I drank half a glass of water again and ate the crust of bread and it passed me. There was no vomiting or even belching. Could the pill have stayed in the throat and dissolved and I would not have felt it or "returned" to the throat myself?

It is not possible for the contraceptive pill to get stuck in the throat. When swallowed, the tablet may have irritated the throat wall, hence the feeling as if the tablet was still in the throat and the aforementioned scratching and irritation.

There is also no way for the tablet to "return unnoticed" to the throat without vomiting.

If you have washed it down with water, you have not vomited - the effect of the medicine is normal. If you have swallowed a bread crust after taking the pill and the ailment has subsided, there is no need to worry.

If you experience throat irritation, a moisturizer based on Iceland moss can provide quick relief. Such preparations are available without a prescription and will allow you to restore comfort.

There is no way that this tablet will stick to your esophagus and not dissolve. You can rest assured that the pill has worked.

And what if I have such a feeling all day when swallowing I did not drink a lot of water but during the day I drank normally and I still have a feeling and 10 hours have passed or could it stick there and not work?

The crust of bread will not interfere with the absorption of the contraceptive pill, if vomiting has not occurred, in the following situation you are fully protected.

I mean, even if the pill somehow went back to my throat (it didn't bounce off) but I didn't vomit and still bite the crust of the bread and drank water, is it okay? Could this peel somehow interfere with the absorption if the remnants of the tablet got with it?

I understand, so there is no need to take an extra tablet?

I think there is little chance of that. Returning the tablet to the throat is almost impossible. Perhaps the tablet touched the wall of the esophagus during the transition from the mouth to the digestive system and hence this discomfort. If you have drunk the drug with plenty of water - there is no reason to worry, it has certainly dissolved and will work properly.
