Przepisana przez lekarza dawka - 4 tabletki na dobę, jest wyższa od dawek zalecanych w Charakterystyce Produktu Leczniczego Ospamox 1000 mg. Zgodnie ze wspomnianym dokumentem, maksymalna zalecana dobowa dawka amoksycyliny wynosi 1 g (1 tabletka Ospamox 100 g), co 8 godzin, czyli 3 tabletki dziennie. Najczęściej u dorosłych lekarze zalecają 1 g (1 tabletkę) co 12 godzin.
