Could my problems be caused simply by vaginal dryness?
Since September he has been using Izotek, since November he has been using Slinda. Some time ago, after intercourse, I began to feel a burning sensation when urinating. The doctor prescribed me furagine, suspecting cystitis. After the end of the treatment, I had intercourse and the problem returned. I went to the gynecologist who diagnosed me with suprauterine inflammation and prescribed me the antibiotic ceroxim. After the end of the treatment, I had intercourse (on Monday) and again I began to feel a burning sensation during urination, this time much lighter and not occurring all the time (with once a day it will happen. I'm also not sure if it's more of a burning sensation or itching. For the first day I also felt soreness when touching the vagina area. A urine test is fine. I have no bacteria and leukocytes. He does not feel frequent pressure on the bladder or pain in the lower abdomen. Could my problems be caused simply by vaginal dryness? Could the cause be different?

Aby przekonać się, czy problemem może być suchość pochwy można przed stosunkiem stosować lubrykant (żel intymny o właściwościach nawilżających).
Suchość pochwy może wystąpić podczas terapii lekiem Izotek, jednak nie da się na podstawie dostępnych danych określić, jak często. Trudno zatem określić, na ile statystycznie może być ona powodem odczuwanych przez Panią dolegliwości. Również tabletki antykoncepcyjne Slinda mogą być przyczyną suchości pochwy, ale jedynie u nie więcej niż 1 na 100 pacjentek.
Jeśli chodzi o inne możliwe przyczyny nawracających dolegliwości, to wskazana jest pogłębiona diagnostyka. W zakresie zakażeń dróg moczowych na ogół jest to badanie ogólne moczu (było wykonane, niekiedy jednak wskazane może być jego powtórzenie) i posiew, a przy podejrzeniu zakażeń ginekologicznych może być to wymaz - wybór sposobu postępowania i zakresu badań należy do decyzji lekarza.
