What you have just described also works with us. From Sunday we take pulmicort and the child behaves identically. Crying, irritable, sleep problems and night grunting as if she was dreaming something. This, too, cannot be a coincidence, because it has never behaved like this. Best regards

It is statistically unlikely that Pulmicort causes these ailments, but this cannot be completely ruled out. However, I would suggest first checking whether there are other reasons (illness, situation at home, peer events, inappropriate stimuli reaching the child, etc.) that could affect the change in behavior. Anxiety is an uncommon (may affect up to 1 in 100 people) possible side effect. Nervousness and changes in behavior (mainly in children) appear even less frequently (less than 1 in 1000 people). Such side effects are more likely to occur if glucocorticoids such as inhaled Pulmicort are used in high doses for a long time.
