Should I worry if I have heavy bleeding and severe pain after removing the Levosert IUD?
On December 9, I removed the Levisert insert after 4.5 years. The day before I got a period that appeared after a week from the previous one, earlier there were such and cidents but then the second period lasted 2-3 days this lasts a week and is still intense in terms of bleeding and pain. Should I be worried already? If it is an extrauterine pregnancy, will it come out positive?

Przedłużające się krwawienie może być związane z usunięciem wkładki i spadkiem poziomu hormonów we krwi.
Jeśli jednak krwawienie jest obfite i towarzyszy mu silny ból - warto skonsultować się ze swoim ginekologiem.
Jeśli byłaby to ciąża pozamaciczna, domowy test ciążowy może wykazać jej obecność, ale nie jest to regułą. W razie podejrzenia ciąży pozamacicznej należy wykonać laboratoryjny test na poziom beta HCG we krwi.
