Niezbyt często (rzadziej niż u 1 na 100 osób) lek Velaxin może spowodować niewielkie zmiany aktywności enzymów wątrobowych we krwi. Rzadko (rzadziej niż u 1 na 1000 osób) mogą wystąpić poważniejsze problemy z wątrobą, w tym zapalenie wątroby.
