Jeżeli minęło więcej niż 12 h od planowanego przyjęcia tabletki, należy zabezpieczać się dodatkową mechaniczną metodą antykoncepcji przez okres 7 dni. Stosunek odbył się przed pominięciem dawki leku, dlatego możliwość zajścia w ciążę jest znikoma.
Warto jednak wykonać test ciążowy, który potwierdzi lub wykluczy ciążę.
