Letrox will be removed from the body in about 14 days. In the case of hyperthyroidism, it will be shorter (6-8 days) and in hypothyroidism it will be longer (about 16-20 days). I have not found data in the medical literature indicating that Letrox causes withdrawal symptoms. I enclose a link to the information about the drug: https://www.gdziepolek.pl/produkty/43216/letrox-50-tabletki/apteki Side effects should always be reported to the doctor, which we write about here: https://www.gdziepolek.pl/artykuly/jak-i-dlaczego-zglaszac-dzialania-niepozadane I also attach a link to helpful material: https://www.gdziepolek.pl/artykuly/czy-jak-i-kiedy-mozna-odstawic-leki https://www.gdziepolek.pl/kategorie/leki-na-niedoczynnosc-tarczycy
From my experience, I will write that thyroid hormones should not be discontinued immediately, because the body is dependent on their artificial replenishment. This should be done successively, reducing the dose and observing the body. When I stopped hormones right away, because I suggested that my results were improving, after a month of TSH I had 115 :/.
