Should I postpone the general urine test to after menstruation?

I got a referral for a general urine test, on the day of the examination (Thursday) I will be 2-3 days before menstruation, at the moment I sometimes appear slightly brown mucus or in this case should I postpone the examination to the period after menstruation?

To zależy od tego, w jakim celu będzie wykonywane badanie, czy jest pilne i na ile wydzielina z dróg rodnych jest intensywna.

Ogólnie nie zaleca się wykonywania analizy moczu podczas krwawienia, ponieważ bardzo często próbka ulega zanieczyszczeniu. Niekiedy jednak jest to konieczne - w takim przypadku należy szczególnie uważnie przestrzegać zasad pobrania próbki moczu. Chodzi przede wszystkim o dokładną higienę okolic zewnętrznego ujścia cewki moczowe j. Próbkę do naczynia należy pobrać z tzw. środkowego strumienia moczu. Na ten czas ujście pochwy można zabezpieczyć tamponem, jeśli może Pani z nich korzystać.
