Stężenie hCG w surowicy krwi według norm większości laboratoriów powinno wynosić powyżej 5 mIU/ml, aby uznać, że wynik jest pozytywny. Proszę spojrzeć na swój wydruk z laboratorium i podane tam zakresy referencyjne.

11 dni po potencjalnym zapłodnieniu badanie mogłoby już wykryć ciążę. 14 dni po owulacji (czyli na ogół w terminie spodziewanej miesiączki) wynik jest zwykle jeszcze wyższy, nawet do 200. Wynik poniżej 5 wskazuje na ten moment na brak ciąży, jeśli nie wystąpi miesiączka może Pani powtórzyć badanie. Wystąpienie krwawienia i negatywny wynik testu będą wskazywać na niepowodzenie zabiegu.
