Tobradex to preparat złożony zawierający 2 substancje czynne: tobramycynę o działaniu przeciwbakteryjnym i deksametazon o działaniu przeciwzapalnym. Tobramycyna jest antybiotykiem z grupy aminoglikozydów o szerokim spektrum działania. Mechanizm jej działania polega na hamowaniu syntezy białek bakteryjnych. Deksametazon jest lekiem z grupy kortykosteroidów. Wykazuje silne działanie przeciwzapalne, przeciwalergiczne i przeciwwysiękowe. Odpowiadając na pytanie - tak, krople Tobradex zawierają substancję sterydową.
