Leki te różnią się substancją czynną.
Nalgesin Forte ma szersze wskazania do stosowania - może być stosowany również, m.in. w ostrych napadach dny moczanowej, w bolesnym miesiączkowaniu. Leki Nalgesin Forte i Biofenac zawierają inne substancje czynne - naproksen i aceklofenak. Substancje te należą do niesteroidowych leków przeciwzapalnych, ich działanie polega na hamowaniu syntezy prostaglandyn. Efekt terapii w przypadku obu leków obserwowany jest średnio po 1-3 godzin.
