Hello. Daughter 4l. It trachea coughs at night and during the day. Persistent at night does not allow to sleep. The doctor prescribed- augumentin es 2 x a day, berodual 2 x a day 17 drops of saline, encorton 2x half a tablet. For the night syrup supremin. I forgot to ask the doctor about solvetusan syrup... at 19 I gave encorton, about 20 antibiotic 5ml, and about 21 syrup supremin just before bed. At 3 coughing attacks literally every minute. We made inhalations from saline. It didn't help. So at 3.30 she got 4 ml of supremin syrup. It is 5 and the cough only slowly subsides. I will add that with earlier coughing episodes, the Daughter responded better to a syrup called solvetusan. I did not ask the doctor if with the drugs she takes, instead of supremin syrup, I can safely give her solvetusan? Can solvetusan and supremin be administered alternately if the attacks at night do not subside? I mean whether Eg about 21 supremin and if at night again coughing attack is given at a certain interval of course - solvetusan. I have the impression that supremin works with a delay ... and the cough goes away so quickly....
