Good morning My partner today " discovered " at home that he has ringworm penis. We had the last intercourse two days ago. Do I also have to be cured for ringworm? I will add that he should not get infected from me, because I have never had any intimate infection and I do not have any symptoms. Thank you in advance for your reply

Z Pani wpisu wynika, że partner dokonał autodiagnozy. Jednak w przypadku wystąpienia objawów sugerujących grzybicę penisa, należy skontaktować się z lekarzem (urologiem, dermatologiem-wenerologiem ewentualnie z lekarzem pierwszego kontaktu). Czynnikiem sprzyjającym chorobie jest cukrzyca - wizyta u lekarza powinna być okazją do sprawdzenia, czy ten parametr jest w normie.

W przypadku potwierdzenia rozpoznania, również Pani powinna być objęta leczeniem, nawet pomimo braku objawów. Do czasu wyleczenia wskazana jest wstrzemięźliwość płciowa.
