Won't Structum hurt an 11-year-old?

Hello, stuctum prescribed for a son of 11 years getting osteogenon. I have concerns if it will not hurt because it is written that for 18 years. The son has inflammation of the hip joint and osteonecrosis.

Zgodnie z Charakterystyką Produktu Leczniczego Structum produkt ten wskazany jest dla osób powyżej 18 roku życia, jednak w praktyce bywa - po ordynacji lekarskiej - że stosowany także u młodszych pacjentów. Informacja producenta wynika z faktu, iż nie zostały przeprowadzone badania bezpieczeństwa i skuteczności leku u osób poniżej 18 roku życia.

Należy pamiętać, że lekarz na podstawie swojej najlepszej wiedzy i doświadczenia może zlecić stosowanie danego leku poza wskazaniami rejestracyjnymi, jeśli uzna, że może być to bezpieczne i pomocne dla pacjenta. Jest to tzw. stosowanie leku poza wskazaniami, o czym dokładnie pisaliśmy tutaj:
