Jednoczesne stosowanie sertraliny (Sertagen) i naproksenu (Aleve) może zwiększać ryzyko krwawień, m.in. z przewodu pokarmowego, dlatego pacjenci przyjmujący sertralinę mogą stosować niesteroidowe leki przeciwzapalne (np. naproksen, ibuprofen, ketoprofen, deksketoprofen, diklofenak) jedynie doraźnie, unikając wysokich dawek. Bezpieczniejszym lekiem w tym przypadku byłby paracetamol.
