Choć nie ma bezwzględnych przeciwwskazań do łączenia hydroksyzyny z Gonal F - ewentualne zastosowanie hydroksyzyny powinno zostać ustalone z lekarzem. Należy mieć na uwadze, iż hydroksyzyny nie należy stosować podczas ciąży, ponadto badania na zwierzętach wykazały toksyczność reprodukcyjną - co dodatkowo przemawia za nie stosowaniem hydroksyzyny u kobiet starających się o dziecko.
