Can Azycin be used to treat diarrhea in a child?
Hello. The doctor prescribed the son of a 3-year-old Azycin 200 for diarrhea and abdominal pain . This is his first antibiotic . And in the leaflet , in the indications there is nothing about the treatment of diarrhea .

Azycyna może być stosowana w leczeniu biegunki bakteryjnej, która charakteryzuje się, m.in. obecnością śluzu, ropy lub krwi w kale. Jeśli ma Pani wątpliwości, co do słuszności zastosowanej terapii - proszę skonsultować się z pediatrą.
