Produkt leczniczy Biosotal należy stosować ostrożnie u chorych na cukrzycę (szczególnie niestabilną cukrzycę) lub u osób, u których występowały epizody samoistnej hipoglikemii, ponieważ zablokowanie receptorów β-adrenergicznych może maskować niektóre ważne objawy rozpoczynającej się hipoglikemii, jak np. tachykardia.

Takie połączenie może wymagać zmiany dawkowania leku Metformax - co powinno zostać ustalone z lekarzem na podstawie zapisów w dzienniczku samokontroli.
