Szczepionka Adacel nie znajduje się na wykazie leków bezpłatnych dla kobiet w ciąży. Zgodnie z Programem Szczepień Ochronnych szczepienie kobiet w ciąży przeciwko błonicy, tężcowi, krztuścowi jest zalecane po ukończeniu 27 do 36 tygodnia ciąży. Koszt szczepień zalecanych - w odróżnieniu od szczepień obowiązkowych - ponosi pacjent.
