Is it better to get vaccinated against COVID-19 while using placebo pills of a contraceptive drug?
Good morning, I'm taking Axia conti pills and I plan to get vaccinated with Pfizer. Does it matter if you get vaccinated while taking active pills or a placebo? Will the effect of the tablets be weakened? Are you less likely to have thrombosis when taking placebo pills?

Nie, nie ma znaczenia, czy zaszczepi się Pani na koronawirusa podczas przyjmowania tabletek aktywnych czy też placebo leku antykoncepcyjnego.
Nie znajduję naukowego źródła potwierdzającego, aby przyjęcie szczepionki przeciwko COVID-19 w trakcie zażywania tabletek placebo stwarzało mniejsze ryzyko zakrzepicy.
Szczepionki przeciwko COVID-19 nie osłabiają skuteczności antykoncepcji hormonalnej.
